To volunteer, please create an Adventure Guide profile by completing a background check using the button below. After you create your profile you will be able to register for events using our Adventure Guides Calendar.

Beyond Boundaries Adventure Guides
From spending one-on-one time with our incredible participants to acting as stewards for Beyond Boundaries and the outdoors - your role is critical in helping us offer individuals of all ability levels, no matter physical, cognitive, or economic situation, the opportunity to experience outdoor activities.

To begin volunteering, you must first complete a background check and waiver. We also ask that you complete our Disability Inclusion Training course as soon as possible.

We ask that all volunteers register for a Disability Inclusion Training course. They are offered regularly throughout the year. You are welcome to start volunteering before it is completed.

We love having the same group of volunteers work with the same program where possible. However, if you can’t commit to an entire cohort that’s fine too, just sign up for the sessions that you can make!

Due to the high adventure nature of our programs, we ask that all volunteers be at least 16 years old. Volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of the trip.
Volunteers under 18 are not required to submit a background check at this time.
All volunteers must complete a waiver.

Ready for Adventure?

Submit the information for your background check HERE. Once you’re approved, you’ll receive a notification that you can begin signing up for trips. You’ll also receive a request to complete a waiver.

After you’ve completed your background check, you can register freely for trips using our Adventure Guides Portal.

We offer several DIT courses throughout the year. We ask that all volunteers complete a course at their convenience.
